Start from the workflow
We begin with the workflow and its constraints, then ask where intelligence can genuinely improve an outcome. If a rule or a good interface solves the problem, that is the right answer.
When AI does belong, it should be governed: explainable enough to trust, measurable enough to improve, and safe enough to operate inside enterprise controls.
Deliberate, not decorative
Applied deliberately, AI compounds the value of well-engineered software. Applied decoratively, it adds risk and noise. The discipline is knowing the difference.
